Rapper Geologic aka Prometheus Brown, one-half of the Seattle-based hip-hop group Blue Scholars, hosts a cinema blog that I admire.

Earlier this week, I was fortunate enough to witness Blue Scholars (along with other West Coast acts Bambu, DJ Phatrick, Jern Eye and Delorean) perform live. The setting was a neat little club called Slim’s, situated in the heart of San Francisco’s South of Market district.
